If you ask Mary-Anne Schelb, Chair of the committee, “When it came to my attention that the conference no longer had agency backing, I couldn’t let it go. The daylong conference is so well liked and truly needed in the area. People come from all over New England to attend. I knew that local social workers, nurses and case managers relied on the conference for their annual continuing education requirements.” The decision underscores the commitment of JGS Lifecare to support initiatives vital to the healthcare community that address the unique needs of seniors.
The Western Mass Elder Care Conference serves as a crucial platform for professionals, caregivers, and stakeholders to converge, exchange knowledge, and explore innovative solutions tailored to the evolving landscape of elder care. The conference offers invaluable insights and resources aimed at enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
